Billable hours, not admin hours.

Timesheets chased every Friday, onboarding run from a checklist in someone's head, reports rebuilt by hand each month. We automate the admin around the work, so senior people stop doing it.

Consultancies, engineering and design practices, and advisory firms with 50–500 people.

01Sound familiar

The work around the work.

01

Timesheets chased every week

Someone spends Friday afternoon and Monday morning chasing hours, then re-keys them into the billing system.

02

Onboarding lives in one person's head

Accounts, equipment, inductions and introductions — done from memory, slightly differently every time.

03

Approvals stuck in inboxes

Purchase requests, leave and expense claims wait in email for someone who is on a plane or in a workshop.

04

Month-end reporting by hand

Utilisation and project reports get rebuilt in Excel each month from three exports and a lookup that only one person understands.

02Where the hours go

Same process, rebuilt.

In a professional services firm, every hour of admin done by a fee-earner is an hour that isn't billed. The work itself is rarely the problem. The trouble is the steps around it: collecting time, approving spend, setting up new people and pulling numbers together at month end.

A worked example

This one is illustrative — use your own numbers in the calculator.

Round, illustrative numbers. The point is to measure your own before deciding what to build.

06Questions

Professional services, answered.

01Will this work with our practice management or billing system?

Usually, yes. Power Automate has connectors for many common systems and can use an API where one exists. Where neither exists, we design around it — for example a clean export that lands in the right place. The audit confirms which before you commit.

02We already have Microsoft 365. Do we need new licences?

Often not. Most approvals, onboarding and timesheet flows run on standard Microsoft 365 licences. Premium connectors and Dataverse need extra licensing; if a build needs it, we tell you the cost up front.

03How do you handle client confidentiality?

Everything is built in your own tenant, under your permissions and your data policies. We set permissions by role, not by individual, and document who can see what at handover.

04What does it cost?

The audit is free. Single builds are scoped from $10,000 at a fixed price, and retainers start at $3,000 a month for governance and small changes.
