Privacy policy

Last updated 2 August 2026

Power Partners (“we”) is a Brisbane-based consultancy. This policy explains what we collect through https://powerpartners.au, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you book a discovery call. The booking form asks for your name, company, work email address and, optionally, a phone number and a description of what is taking up your team’s time.

Alongside those answers we record what you were looking at when you asked — the figures you entered into the cost calculator, or the name of the build you clicked through from — together with the page you submitted from and the time you submitted it. This is so we arrive at the call already understanding your situation.

When you simply browse. We collect aggregate usage data about which pages are visited, roughly where in the world visitors come from, and which links and buttons get used. Depending on the tools enabled at the time, this may include anonymised recordings of on-page activity such as scrolling and clicks, used to work out which parts of the site are confusing.

The cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into it reaches us unless you choose to submit the booking form.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
  • To prepare for that call, and to carry out the free audit if you ask for one.
  • To understand which parts of this site work and which do not.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of a booking enquiry.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and handle enquiries. These may include our website host, the form-handling and workflow service that delivers your enquiry to us, our email provider, and analytics providers. Some of these providers process data outside Australia. We share only what those services need in order to work.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while there is an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick the thread back up. Ask us to delete yours and we will. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to each provider’s own retention settings.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no advertising cookies. Analytics tools may set cookies or use similar browser storage to tell repeat visits apart. Blocking them in your browser will not stop the site from working, and the booking form does not depend on them.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@powerpartners.au and we will action it, normally within a few business days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first so we can put it right. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
