Workflows that don’t wait to be chased.
Power Automate workflows, explained.
Power Automate is Microsoft’s workflow tool. It connects the systems you already use — Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse and hundreds of others — and runs the steps a person does by hand today: route an approval, file a document, update a record, send the reminder.
The value is in the handoffs. Most manual work in a 50–500 person business is someone copying information from one place to another, or chasing a decision that is sitting in an inbox. A well-built flow removes both, and leaves an audit trail of who approved what and when.
The risk with Power Automate is not building flows — it is flows that break quietly and nobody notices. Every flow we build has an owner, error handling and monitoring, and sits under the governance you agree to.
Signs it’s the right tool
- Approvals stall in someone’s inbox until they are chased
- The same data is typed into two or three systems
- Expiry dates for licences and certificates live in a spreadsheet
- Month-end depends on one person running a manual routine
- Someone in the team built flows that nobody else understands

What it costs.
Build cost
From $10,000 for a scoped build
A single high-value workflow, or a set of related ones, is scoped at a fixed price from the audit. Smaller automations are often built inside a retainer, from $3,000 a month, rather than quoted one at a time.
Timeline: Two to five weeks for most workflow builds.
Licensing
- Flows using standard connectors (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel) are included in Microsoft 365 business and enterprise plans.
- Premium connectors, Dataverse and some AI Builder features need Power Automate Premium per user, or a per-flow plan. You get the per-user cost before you commit.
Power Automate, answered.
01What should we automate first?
The process that costs the most time and has the clearest rules — usually an approval that stalls, or data typed into more than one system. The free audit ranks your processes by return so the first build is the one that pays back fastest.
02Is Power Automate included in Microsoft 365?
Yes, for flows that use standard connectors such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Excel. Premium connectors and Dataverse need a Power Automate Premium licence, and we confirm which you need before scoping.
03What happens when a flow breaks?
Every flow we build has error handling, a named owner and monitoring. On a retainer we watch them and fix failures before your team notices. Without monitoring, broken flows are the main reason automation projects quietly fail.
04Power Automate or Zapier?
If you already run Microsoft 365, Power Automate is usually the better fit: it is licensed with what you have, runs inside your tenant under your security and data rules, and connects natively to SharePoint, Teams and Dataverse.
05Should every process be automated?
No. A process that changes often, that nobody owns, or that is broken should be fixed or deleted first. We will tell you when automation is the wrong answer.
